Tree Lighting Ceremony
Thursday, November 29, 2018 
5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

A long-time favorite in the Bay Area, The Ritz-Carlton, San Francisco kicks off the joyous season with the annual Tree Lighting Ceremony. One special family from Make-A-Wish® Greater Bay Area will illuminate the grand 40-foot holiday tree for all those gathered around to enjoy. Loved ones can choose to have a commemorative Polaroid taken with Santa Claus in the Terrace Courtyard to take home as a keepsake. The festive evening will be hosted by KRON Channel 4 News Anchor Vicki Liviakis.

Teddy Bear Tea
December 1, 8-9, 15-16, 21-23 – 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.
December 2 – 10 a.m.
December 20 – 1 p.m.

The hotel’s famous Afternoon Tea will be offered with a fun-filled seasonal twist in the elaborately decorated Terrace Room at The Ritz-Carlton, San Francisco. Children will enjoy hot cocoa, sweet teddy bear treats, and assorted sandwiches while being captivated by a lively holiday show starring an entertaining elf, his animated sidekick, and a giant Teddy Bear. Adults may choose from specialty holiday cocktails which will also available for purchase. Each child will receive a teddy bear gift and commemorative photo with the giant Teddy Bear to take home. $2 per ticket sold will benefit Make-A-Wish® Greater Bay Area.

Holiday Afternoon Tea
December 2, 9, 16-23, 26-28 – 1 p.m.

The Ritz-Carlton, San Francisco presents a holiday spin on this deliciously modern ritual of Afternoon Tea in The Lounge. Complete with stunning city views. Reconnect with friends and family while enjoying fine pots of tea and sandwiches crafted with seasonal, local ingredients such as Cucumber with Raita and Mint; Beet and Cured Salmon with Yuzu and Dill; Prosciutto with Date and Parmesan; and more. Sweet indulgences include Strawberry Lemon Scones; Raspberry Cream Éclairs; and Carrot Cake with Greek Yogurt Frosting. A Vegetarian Afternoon Tea Menu is also available, as well as gluten- and dairy-free options.

The Afternoon Tea is priced at $80 per guest, exclusive of tax, gratuity and alcoholic beverages.

Premier Tea is priced at $90 per guest, complemented with a glass of Schramsberg California Sparkling Wine

Royal Tea is priced at $98 per guest, complemented with a glass of Veuve Clicquot Brut ‘Yellow Label’, accompanied by strawberries and cream.

Christmas Eve Dinner at Parallel 37
December 24 – 9 p.m.

Christmas Eve Dinner at The Ritz-Carlton, San Francisco is the ideal way to enjoy the flavors of the season with loved ones. Featuring a seasonally inspired menu crafted by Chef de Cuisine and Charlie Trotter alum Michael Rotondo, dishes include duck and sea scallops complete with an array of fresh winter harvest vegetables.

Christmas Eve Dinner is priced at $149 per adult and $35 for a dedicated children’s entrée exclusive of tax, gratuity, and alcoholic beverages.
