The quintessential California camp-era resort, part of Marriott International's exclusive Autograph Collection of upscale independent hotels, is ready for the season with new activities, festivities and food-focused offerings for every age, energy and appetite.

The season kicks off with grass skirts and floral shirts Saturday, June 18, at Luau by the Lake. The resort's private beach plays host to the festivities including cash bar starting at 6:00pm, buffet dinner at 6:30pm, and live fire dancing and hula entertainment at 7:30pm. Tickets $45 per person. "Luau by the Lake" Package is available June 17-19 and includes accommodations and two tickets to the Luau from $336.

Good Buzz - New this summer, The Hive Poolside Bar & Grill serves up casual American poolside fare daily in a new outdoor kitchen. The bar stocks canned domestic and imported beers, 32-ounce Mojito Tumblers, Mai Tais and Margaritas, Mocktails for little ones and more.

Dive-In Movies - Pull up a lounger or inflatable and enjoy Dive-In Movies at the pool. Family-friendly films will be shown Friday and Saturday nights through summer following concerts in the Lake Arrowhead Village. The Hive will buzz late with popcorn, candy and more, plus special "Bee" theme nights.

Games Galore! - Head out with the family and a cell phone on a tech-guided Treasure Hunt. Wind down the kids and win prizes at "Bee-ngo!" (a.k.a. Bingo) every Friday and Saturday. Put your aim to the test with Corn Hole Bag Toss and more.

Guided Kayak Tours - Last summer, for the first-time, the Lake Arrowhead community allowed resort guests to enjoy Guided Kayak Tours on the private lake. With newly expanded boundaries this summer, guided tours for individuals and duos are available Monday-Sunday at designated hours (blackout dates apply). Tours last 50 minutes; available for ages three and up (minimum 30 lbs.). Single kayaks $35; double $45.

Boat Tours Ahoy! - Enjoy time with family and friends or plan a romantic evening for two with a 50-minute Pontoon Boat Tour. 50-minute boat tour rates run $140 for 1-5 guests, $195 for 6-10 guests, with an additional 50 minutes for $90.

Go Fish - Lake Arrowhead is the spot for amateur and ace anglers, with water teeming with trout, Kokanee salmon, bass, catfish, crappie, sunfish, carp and more. Charter tours last one hour and 50 minutes, at rates of $225 for 1-5 guests, $290 for 6-10 guests. Fishing off the dock runs $25 for three-hour rental. Participants age 16 years or older must obtain a California State fishing license prior to a charter tour or pole rental.
