Euphoria Retreat Offers Forest Bathing & Candlelit Labyrinth Walk on Global Wellness Day

In celebration of Global Wellness Day on June 11, Euphoria Retreat, a holistic destination spa in the Peloponnese, will offer two complimentary activities to mindfully reconnect in nature and boost wellbeing. The day will begin with a gentle hike and energy exercises in the private forest, and end with a candlelit labyrinth walk at the edge of the forest with the healing sound of singing bowls.

“We each have the ability to be our own healer and to lead our own process of change with small but decisive steps,” says founder Marina Efraimoglou. “Global Wellness Day highlights the many ways we can incorporate wellness into our busy lives.”

A Morning of Forest Bathing
A gentle, guided hike into the enchanted forest at the base of Mt. Taygetus will include stops along the path for stretching and energy exercises at the outdoor forest gym, the pond and the picturesque village of Mystras before returning to the spa.

Sunset Reflection at the Forest’s Edge
A meditative walk in the mountainside labyrinth, inspired by one Asclepius designed at ancient Epidaurus, will be lit by candlelight and accompanied by the sounds of crystal singing bowls and cicadas from the neighboring forest.

Guests, locals and visitors are invited to join these complimentary activities on Global Wellness Day.
