European Waterways Launches 2019 Hotel Barging Season with Special Offers
European Waterways is calling upon travelers to “spring into the new season” with exceptional offers of up to 20% off charters and cabin prices on select hotel barge cruises in Europe for spring 2019. These specials represent savings of up to $13,760 off on charters and $2,540 off on cabins, based on double occupancy. With the growing popularity of solo travel, the company is also waiving the single supplement on select cruises, allowing guests to save up to $2,200. A 'Great Time' for Savings
Among the hotel barges offering 20% off on charter and cabin prices is the 12-passenger La Belle Epoque, which cruises Burgundy, France. Itinerary highlights include private tasting of Chablis wines and Champagne at renowned establishments and “dining with the Baroness” at the magnificent Château de Ricey-Bas. Guests also visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Abbaye de Fontenay, a major architectural example of the Cistercian order of “White Monks” who followed strict daily routines. Guests can save as much as $13,760 off the whole boat charter price and up to $2,540 off cabin prices, based on double occupancy.  Solo travelers can save as much as $2,200 with waiver of the single supplement.  Specials are available on select departures and include free transfer to and from the vessel from a designated location in Paris. 
 
Guests can receive up to 20% off whole boat charters and 10% off cabin prices on the 8-passenger L’Art de Vivre, which also cruises Burgundy. This represents savings of up to $7,000 on charters and up to $1,080 off on cabins, based on double occupancy. Cruise highlights include a visit to Auxerre, a scenic port town that features elegant cathedrals towering above the skyline. Guest will also enjoy wine tasting excursions and visits to the hilltop basilica of Vezelay as well as a tour of the village of Noyers-sur-Serein, which offers cobbled streets, half-timbered houses, intimate squares and other small-village charms.
 
The spacious 12-passenger Panache offers 20% off whole-boat charter prices for tulip cruises in Holland departing March 24 and 31, and May 5.  It offers 20% off on whole boat charters on its June 2 and 9, 2019 departures in the Champagne region of France.  These specials represent a saving of up to $13,760 off charters. The vessel offers 20% off on cabins on select Champagne cruises, a saving of $2,540, based on double occupancy. Panache is also waiving single supplement fees on select departure, a saving of $2,200, based on departure dates.
 
The newest and most modern hotel barge in its fleet, the 12-passenger Spirit of Scotland features extensive public areas that allow guests to relax and soak in the vast, sweeping vista of the Scottish Highlands.  European Waterways offers 10% off on whole boat charters, a saving of up to $5,200; and 10% off per cabin, a saving of $1,090, based on double occupancy.  Select departures will also waive the single supplement, saving solo guests up to $2,000.
