Luxury wellness travel company Soul Sanctuaries is offering a selection of exclusive, healing holidays at Four Seasons Resorts in Bali. Combining a spiritual stay at Four Seasons Sayan in Ubud with a rejuvenating sojourn at sister, seaside resort Four Seasons Jimbaran Bay, guests can enjoy ‘Chakra Balancing’ ceremonies, ‘Sacred Naps’, and Anti-Gravity yoga. Each luxury wellness experience is individually curated to suit the guest and includes a private consultation on arrival.
With an increasing number of luxury hotel guests requesting more than a simple massage, the Four Seasons Spa philosophy draws on ancient Balinese healing rituals. At Four Seasons Sayan in Ubud, guests can restore balance and harmony with a ‘Chakra Ceremony’, using quartz singing bowls to re-align energy with sound therapy in combination with a chakra-targeted full body scrub and massage. Private yoga and meditation sessions are also available, set within a sublime, bamboo yoga shala surrounded by rice fields.
After a spiritually fulfilling experience at Four Seasons Sayan, guests are seamlessly transported to the ocean at Jimbaran Bay, using the resort’s private packing service. Here, after meeting with the Spa Manager, a personal wellbeing program can include a healing massage using crystals, combined with sound and breathwork, a radiant TDA facial treatment and private yoga on the ocean's edge.
Soul Sanctuaries founder Joanne has a special relationship with Four Seasons Sayan after introducing the resort's management to a former Buddhist nun, Heni Ferawati, several years ago. The resort appointed Ibu Fera as its resident wellness mentor and developed a unique range of spiritual offerings, such as Rudraksha meditation, Life Talks and the other-worldly Sacred Nap. Joanne explains “The Buddhist Sangha asked me to assist a very special Nun who wanted to re-enter secular life in the Spa sector. I knew that Four Seasons in Bali would understand her gift and nurture her wisdom, through the resort's continued innovation as a luxury wellness destination. We’re so happy to now offer these special, healing experiences to our guests visiting Bali.”
The resort also worked with Elora Hardy to design a new wellness venue, Dharma Shanti Bale, and in partnership with Christopher Harrison, launched Bali's only certified AntiGravity Yoga. The on-site yoga masters have continually evolved the programme, recently adding Restorative Hot Stone Yoga and Yin Yoga, while a year-long programme of international yoga masters-in-residence offers guests the opportunity to take sessions with world-renowned yoga teachers.
In addition to experiencing the gift of health and wellness, all guests who book a luxury, healing holiday with Soul Sanctuaries help another little soul too, through their giving program, ‘Give a Little Soul’, which helps impoverished children in Asia.
