Suite 5000 - Mandarin Oriental, New York
Located on the hotel’s 50th floor, the spacious 3,300 square-foot Suite 5000 blends New York City’s finest art, fashion and design. Designed by internationally renowned architecture and interior design firm BBG-BBGM, the suite features an elegant soft dove gray and ivory color scheme, accented with rich charcoal and black. The floor-to-ceiling windows showcase the beautiful views of the Manhattan skyline, Central Park and the Hudson River. The suite is made up of two plush bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms, with a highlight of the master bathroom being a large custom soaking tub illuminated by Swarovski crystals. Additional suite features include a dining room, with seating for ten, accented by a Swarovski crystal wall installation, a full-sized kitchen with separate entry, a dedicated fitness area with equipment customized for individual guests, and an oversized steam shower with views of the Hudson River.
The Parisian Apartment - Mandarin Oriental, Paris (pictured)
At over 4,500 square feet, The Parisian Apartment at Mandarin Oriental, Paris is one of the largest suites in the city. Located on the 6th floor with magnificent views, the spacious ‘Haussmann style’ suite was designed by the acclaimed French agency Gilles & Boissier as a large single level chic Parisian apartment, overlooking the hotel’s lush inner garden and Rue Saint-Honoré. The suite is comprised of four elegant bedrooms and bathrooms, an expansive reception area, bright dining room, and fully equipped kitchen. For flexibility, the suite can be divided into two connecting two-bedroom suites. For this suite, landscape designers Christophe Gautrand & Associates created an authentic 2,400+ square-foot Parisian terrace inspired by French gardens. Making full use of the private terrace’s spaciousness, the designers developed several different environments, each with their own special ambiance that can adapt easily to changing desires and seasons.
Moser Crystal Suite - Mandarin Oriental, Prague
The Moser Crystal Suites at Mandarin Oriental, Prague invite guests to experience the distinctive sparkle and ageless beauty of Bohemian crystal. The two luxurious Moser Crystal Suites are dedicated to showcasing the finest in Bohemian crystal manufactured by Moser, the Czech Republic’s premier luxury crystal maker. Located in the Baroque wing of the hotel, each of the two unique Moser Suites exudes an elegant atmosphere thanks to 17th century vaulted ceilings, tall windows and antique parquet floors.
The Grand Royal Suite - Mandarin Oriental, Bangkok
Beginning with Tsar Nicholas II of Russia and Joseph Conrad during the late-nineteenth-century, Mandarin Oriental, Bangkok has welcomed numerous heads of state, captains of industry and a host of world renowned writers and celebrities over the years. Meticulously designed to accommodate the requirements of the most discerning clientele, the six-bedroom, 6,400+ square foot Royal Suite occupies the entire first floor of the Authors’ Wing, which was the original Oriental Hotel, built in 1876. The Grand Royal Suite has private elevator access and is comprised of the one-bedroom, 3,400 square foot Royal Suite and the adjoining 1,800 square meter Ambassador Suite with two bedrooms, as well as three further separate guest rooms to accommodate family and entourage. A private separate meeting room offers state-of-the-art security monitoring and communication facilities. The 140-year-old building’s restored original open balcony affords stunning vistas over the tropical gardens of the Authors’ Wing and the majestic River of Kings. For Thai designers P49 DEESIGN the story of The Oriental Hotel, which is also in part the story of Thailand and the flourishing of Bangkok in the late 1800s, inspired the opulent suite’s interiors.
