Previously known as the ‘Dhow & Anchor' the English pub and restaurant closed its doors in August 2013 to undergo an extensive five-month refurbishment. The venue has now re-opened as the newD&A Restaurant and Bar offering a brand new look and feel with a fresh and modern menu.

The interior design and seating areas incorporate natural earth tones of slate, olive and dark brown, creating the look and ambiance of a modern Britain bar.

Guests can enjoy uninterrupted views of Burj Al Arab with floor to ceiling windows and an outdoor terrace, which is spread across two levels. The expansion to a larger lower terrace now features a full bar area which will be open for spectators during all major sporting events.

D&A has also introduced a new menu by Chef Sydney Stranger who joins Jumeirah Beach Hotel as Chef de Cuisine for D&A from The Merrywell in Melbourne, Australia. He brings a wealth of culinary experience from top restaurants in both Australia and London.

The new menu offers signature dishes featuring the British favourite, Fish & Chips and the new D&A Wagyu Beef Burger. There will also be a ‘Roast of the Day' and a special selection of seafood dishes. Guests can enjoy the bright and airy bar area and a mixologist will offer signature beverages.
