Guests will start their journey with two nights at COMO The Treasury in Perth, where they can ease into their vacation with Matt Sartori’s cuisine at Wildflower restaurant, whose menus are designed around the indigenous ‘six seasons’. They can also immerse themselves in COMO Shambhala wellness therapies — the perfect chance to recuperate if coming into Western Australia after a long journey.

After a refreshing night’s stay in Perth, it’s time to head north and start exploring the wilderness, with a three night experience at either El Questro Homestead in the Kimberley region or Sal Salis Ningaloo Reef on the northwest coast of Western Australia.

El Questro Homestead in the heart of the Kimberley – a three-hour flight from Perth – provides the perfect way to enjoy the spectacular wonders of the Kimberley outback, exploring deep gorges, cascading waterfalls and ancient rock art. River journeys by boat, and private helicopter trips to the World Heritage site, the Bungle Bungles, can also be added to your itinerary on a bespoke basis.

Alternatively, Sal Salis Ningaloo Reef beachside safari camp is a two-hour flight away from Perth. From here you can explore the outstanding Ningaloo Reef – one of the world’s longest near-shore reefs. Nowhere else on earth do turtles, tropical fish and manta rays congregate in such large numbers. You might even get to swim with whale sharks as they pass over the reef in the winter months*.
