Explore Costa Rica This Green Season with Auberge Resorts Collection

Hacienda AltaGracia, Auberge Resorts Collection is a new, next-generation retreat for discerning travelers of all kinds - from adventure enthusiasts and wellness buffs to multi-generational parties and foodies - the Costa Rican property will excite the whole family this spring and beyond. As of April 1, travel restrictions to Costa Rica have loosened, making it more manageable to plan your jungle escape with ease (think: operations at 100% capacity and elimination of the pre-entry Health Pass).

Spring and summer in Costa Rica bring the ‘green season,’ characterized by lush green foliage as well as fresh tropical air and fewer visitors - enabling guests to truly embrace the ‘Pura Vida’ of the destination. This season, guests can look forward to both evergreen and once-in-a-lifetime events at Hacienda AltaGracia, including:

  • Hacienda AltaGracia x Chef Norberto Piattoni (April 9-17): Inspired by the rich diversity of ingredients and local purveyors of the region, our 10-day culinary adventure begins - consisting of two dinners (April 9 and April 15) hosted by Argentinian Chef Piattoni in collaboration with AltaGracia’s culinary team, as well as a special guest experience (April 10 and April 16), and private dinner upon request.
  • Visiting Master George Lewis (March 29 - April 19): Visiting wellness master George Lewis will share his unique knowledge of finding alignment with the soul’s path this spring. Alongside signature treatments at The WELL at Hacienda AltaGracia, Lewis will provide a unique wellness philosophy for a limited-time residency this spring. The focus of this partnership synthesizes the Western and Eastern perspectives, and George arrives at the property with the goal of revealing the cosmic language of archetypal astrology and communicating the mystical realm of existence to humanity.
  • One-of-a-Kind Experiences: No shortage of opportunities awaits adventurers, whether experienced thrill-seekers or simply looking to explore! Guests looking to test their mental and physical strength are challenged to go ficus tree climbing or to discover a high canopy tree hammock that offers incredible views of the adjacent rainforest. Travelers may also enjoy a hike through the neighboring valley to Mina Escondida Waterfall for a picnic lunch or take part in a quetzal bird-watching expedition. Or discover Costa Rica's natural diversity through curated day excursions reaching all corners of the country - from the Osa Peninsula or the beaches at Isla del Caño National Park, to a wildlife adventure at Tortuguero National Park.
