Fairmont Residences Mayakoba Launches Final Collection of Residences

On the heels of a massive, multi-million dollar renovation enhancing the Fairmont hotel and beach club at the esteemed Mayakoba development in Mexico’s scenic Riviera Maya, Fairmont Residences Mayakoba, the resort’s residential component developed by RLH Properties, has announced the sales launch of the property’s final phase of development. This last piece of the master plan features three new buildings and comprises the final collection of residences offering full ownership. The buildings will feature a mix of six or seven fully furnished private residences, one prime penthouse and thoughtful interiors designed by Room 1804, a celebrated Spanish design firm. Pricing for the new residences starts at $1.67 million, with the first building completing as early as Winter 2023.

The sales launch coincides with the sellout of all previous phases of full-ownership offerings at Fairmont Residences Mayakoba, which included 34 residences across seven buildings, one of which just completed this last month. The buyers at this newly opened building were delivered residences finished fresh with the new designs. The new interiors have just been unveiled and are now ready to be experienced by residents and toured by prospective buyers at Fairmont Residences Mayakoba.

Also nearing sell out at Fairmont Residences Mayakoba are three buildings from the previous phases that offer co-ownership. The buildings are a part of Fairmont Heritage Place Mayakoba, the brand’s co-ownership program, which gives buyers the chance to own real estate for a portion of the cost and responsibility. Development for one more co-ownership building with Room 1804’s vision is underway, with construction expected to complete in Spring 2024. Co-ownership for existing inventory at Fairmont Heritage Place is now priced from $240,000 for a 1/12 share, where residents can enjoy the benefits of second homeownership without the hassle of year-round upkeep or the commitment to one locale. They have the option to trade usage at other Fairmont co-ownership destination clubs or at other Fairmont Hotels, Raffles Hotels and Resorts, Swissotel Hotels and Resorts and select Sofitel properties.

“The lifestyle at Fairmont Residences Mayakoba is perfect for all types of residents, whether they be large families, groups of friends or empty-nesters wanting a luxurious and reliable vacation spot,” said Kappner Clark, Chief Marketing Officer at RLH Properties. “The homes were designed with entertaining in mind, so they feature sprawling living areas and many opportunities to lounge and dine outside. They are far larger than an ordinary hotel room with total square footage ranging from 3,400 to over 6,200, and they can be purchased either outright or in fractions. These options give buyers the freedom to choose what’s best for them, and we’ve found that buyers really appreciate the flexibility.”

The forthcoming full-ownership buildings designed by Room 1804 were envisioned to complement the homes’ expansive floor plans, double-height ceilings and seamless indoor-outdoor integration. The firm selected finishes that are authentic to the area, including hand-crafted natural stone, tile and wood accents, and chose furnishings that would fit into the natural color palette and offer unique, organic textures. Residents will enjoy bright open-concept main living areas with floor-to-ceiling glass walls that fully retract and spacious terraces that give new meaning to the outdoor living room concept. The outdoor spaces also feature private plunge or swimming pools, as well as scenic views of the jungle and golf course.

“The design of the residences was based and founded in the search for a look that breathes the concept of relaxed luxury,” said Luis Yunta Lizan, Interior Design Director of Room 1804.

“Fairmont Residences Mayakoba is a place to rest and relax, to forget the everyday routine and enjoy the spectacular surroundings of the environment. We created a tropical wabi-sabi aesthetic, where residents can appreciate the beauty in the simplicity of things.”

Additionally, buyers at Fairmont Residences Mayakoba and Fairmont Heritage Place Mayakoba enjoy two private pools and a kids’ club that are exclusive to residents only. They also have full access to the adjacent Fairmont hotel, which has recently unveiled portions of its highly anticipated renovation reaffirming its reputation as the best family friendly resort in Riviera Maya. The renovation includes a reimagining of the beach club, Maykana, with a new beachfront pool, El Cielo rooftop bar, the new signature restaurant Gaia, feet-in-the-sand experience in Fuego grill, La Laguna restaurant and main family pool, Bassano casual Italian restaurant, coffee shop Café Maya, kids club, spa and fitness center, lobby and reception, Hix Lobby Bar & Lounge, Tauro Steakhouse and 401 hotel rooms. When residents visit Fairmont Mayakoba this fall and winter, they will embark on a brand new experience.

Another perk of owning real estate at Mayakoba is the access to the rest of the 600-acre oceanfront community. The development features more than 25 onsite restaurants, a world-famous PGA TOUR golf course, four spas, scuba dive center, racket center, “El Pueblito” Town Square, one mile of beautiful white sand coastline, kids camps and a bookable VanDutch private yacht, plus other recreational sports activities.
