Falcon Brae, New Luxury Lodge Opens in New Zealand

A new luxury villa is soaring into the Abel Tasman region of New Zealand’s South Island this month as Falcon Brae opens its doors to its first guests on December 20.

Announced by specialist travel experts at New Zealand In Depth, the new Falcon Brae villa is a contemporary new luxury and exclusive villa. It launches as a new sister property to the long established and award-winning Stonefly Lodge in the Motueka Valley accommodating additional families or small groups of up to 6 adults and up to 4 children.

Perfectly located between 3 major National Parks the Falcon Brae Villa is an ideal luxury private retreat, of the highest of standards, providing easy access to all the major activities in the Nelson -Tasman Region.

“The Falcon Brae Villa is set high on a hilltop above Stonefly Lodge with 360-degree views over the surrounding mountains and river below,” adds Paul Carberry from New Zealand In Depth. “As with its sister property, Stonefly Lodge, the new Villa will also be completely off the grid with solar panels providing all of the power.”

The new villa’s design is modern contemporary and sits on a 640 sq metres footprint that is all designed to capture the spectacular views.

Located on a privately owned 350-acre property surrounded on two sides by rivers, the villa includes a private forest and spectacular native bush walks and complete privacy with security gate and private helicopter access.

While the Villa has been designed specifically for exclusive use with private chef and house staff, on certain dates Villa suites will also be available individually on a non-exclusive basis as an upgrade to Stonefly Lodge.

Included in a non-exclusive stay will be a full cooked breakfast, pre-dinner drinks with canapes and a 4-course gourmet dinner.  The guest will have full access of the Villa, main lounge, and pool deck areas.

Paul Carberry from New Zealand In Depth added; “The central communal areas that bring together the three suites of Falcon Brae, will house the large central lounge area complete with a 5-metre-high ceiling, sunken bar, media room, gym, commercial kitchen and 3 dining spaces.  The large outdoor deck space adds further spa & pool with a fully equipped entertainment pergola. Everything you need for an exclusive luxury break.”

Falcon Brae lodge is recommended to combine with a 7-day New Zealand adventure with New Zealand In Depth (www.newzealnd-indepth.co.uk) costing from £4,500 per person excluding international flights. This includes a stay in one of the Falcon Brae Villas for 3 nights with all meals, 3 nights at Bay of Many Coves with all meals and private transfers.
