This winter, The Forbes Five-Star Ritz-Carlton Half Moon Bay transforms into a magical holiday wonderland for its annual Festive Season. A towering Christmas tree on the resort's Ocean Lawn sets the scene, with carolers adding to the yuletide spirit. Holiday brunches and dinners tempt taste buds with multi-course feasts showcasing seasonal culinary delights. Festive décor throughout immerses guests in the unique experience of celebrating the holidays on the California coast. Holiday Decor & Programming
Guests can revel in the magic of the coast this holiday season with the joyous melodies of Dickens-era costumed carolers singing holiday classics throughout the resort. Performances take place Saturday, December 23 - Monday, December 25 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Carolers will welcome guests upon arrival in the car port, resort lobby, and continue the celebrations on the Ocean Lawn and tableside in Navio.

The resort’s scenic Ocean Terrace will offer a lengthy hot chocolate menu, suited for kids and adults. Hot chocolate can be leveled up with an addition of espresso or spiced up with cordials and spirits like Bailey’s, Brandy, Grand Marnier, and more. The hot chocolates can be topped with anything from classic marshmallows and chocolate shavings to Whoppers and Kit Kats. Guests can take their creations to the nearby fire pits for a sunset salute with a nightly bagpiper performance.

Within the cozy confines of their guest rooms, families can create a homey holiday haven by decorating their own miniature tree and hanging stockings on their private fireplaces. Venturing outside their festive accommodations, guests can head to the resort's game and movie room. Each evening, the space screens holiday film classics, with popcorn provided for snacking amidst the cinematic nostalgia. During the day, the screening space transforms into a game hub for kids, allowing young guests to plug into the Xbox and PlayStation while parents squeeze in alone time in The Ritz-Carlton, Half Moon Bay Spa or out on the links. Esteemed Chef de Cuisine Francisco Simón presents a taste of the holidays with special menus for Thanksgiving brunch and dinner, a multi-course tasting menu for Christmas Day brunch and dinner, and New Year's Eve dinner and New Year's Day brunch.

Thanksgiving Dinner Menu - November 23, 24, and 25
Savor an enhanced seven-course Chef’s Tasting menu thoughtfully curated to highlight the season’s finest ingredients. The Chef’s Tasting will also offer Thanksgiving turkey on Thursday only, masterfully prepared by Chef de Cuisine Francisco Simón to commemorate the evening. Navio Thanksgiving Dinner is offered at $249 per person. There will be a three-course Prix-Fixe menu that will be offered exclusively on Friday, November 24, and Saturday, November 25 at $175 per person.

Thanksgiving Brunch Menu - November 23, 25, and 26
Thanksgiving brunch entails a two-hour a-la-carte brunch experience featuring an expertly crafted selection of courses to celebrate the season. Guests dining for brunch on Thursday, November 23, can also enjoy Thanksgiving turkey prepared by Chef Simón. Navio’s Thanksgiving Brunch is $249 per person.

Christmas Eve and Christmas Day Dinner - December 24 and 25
In the evenings leading up to Christmas, guests are invited to indulge in either a seven or three-course tasting menu inspired by the season’s festivities. Menu highlights include Christmas “Canelons” with Wagyu beef cheek, Périgord truffle and Parmigiano-Reggiano and a Christmas Pinecone dessert with chestnut, eggnog and white chocolate. Chef Simón’s seven-course tasting menu is offered from December 20 - December 24 at $249 per guest. The three-course prix fixe menu is offered from December 20 - December 23 at $175 per guest. Both menu options are exclusive of tax, gratuity and any beverages that may be enjoyed.

Christmas Brunch - December 23 - 25
Inspired by coastal flavors and the season’s bounty, guests are invited to enjoy an enhanced two-hour Christmas Brunch experience with festive à la carte presentations. Christmas Brunch is $249 per guest.

New Year’s Eve Dinner - December 31
Guests begin their elaborate eight-course tasting menu with a glass of Dom Pérignon, followed by delectable dishes like Gillardeau Oysters, Hokkaido Scallops, Kaluga caviar, and much more. Chef Simón’s New Year’s Eve Dinner is $395 per guest, exclusive of tax and gratuity.

New Year’s Day Brunch - December 30 - January 1
Begin the New Year on the right foot with a two-hour brunch experience inclusive of small plates served a la carte, followed by a three-tier dessert tower. The New Year’s Day brunch is priced at $249 per guest, exclusive of tax and gratuity.
