Thanksgiving

The Night Before Thanksgiving: This Thanksgiving eve, guests and locals are invited to celebrate at the resort and enjoy a concert from Elvis Before Noon performing their take on rock n' roll favorites in Cortijo Plaza. Guests can also sit back, relax and sip delicious cocktails at Mbar in Prado Restaurant while the intoxicating music flows through the air.

For guests who want to extend the evening, “Home for the Holidays” room rates begin at $169 per night. For younger guests, enjoy a Thanksgiving-themed celebration at Planet Trekkers Kids Club until 10:00 p.m. with holiday movies, crafts and snacks.

Thanksgiving Day: Enjoy a delicious and worry-free Thanksgiving at Prado Restaurant; guests and locals are invited to experience a family-style traditional meal with European accents prepared by Chef de Cuisine, Claudio Urciuoli. Lunch and dinner family-style 3-course menus are offered from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and 5:30 to 10:00 p.m. on November 25th. Pricing is $55 per person for lunch and $75 per person for dinner, exclusive of tax and gratuity.

Crave Café: Visit Crave Café on Friday, November 26th and enjoy 30% off all retail items in the store. Crave carries a variety of local gourmet meats, cheeses and treats as well as wine, home décor, games, greeting cards and clothing items.

Joya Bazaar: Come in to the Bazaar at Joya Spa and receive 30% off any full-price retail item from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 20% off any full price retail item from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Joya Bazaar carries a variety of high-end clothing items from top designers as well as many fine spa product lines.

Holiday Treatments: Joya Spa and Salon will showcase a selection of fall and winter inspired treatments and services featuring the scents and benefits of pumpkin, vanilla and brown sugar.

Harvest Pumpkin Facial – This 50 minute holiday facial incorporates an exfoliating and hydrating pumpkin spice treatment for a relaxing experience. Mon – Thurs $85.00 regularly $145.00; Fri-Sun $155.00

Vanilla Brown Sugar Massage – Warm up this holiday season with this 50 minute massage featuring warm vanilla brown sugar massage oil and rich cream lotion which will leave skin feeling soft and supple. Mon – Thurs $85.00 regularly $145.00; Fri-Sun $155.00

Vanilla Brown Sugar Manicure and Pedicure – This 75-minute relaxing manicure and pedicure experience features a vanilla brown sugar scrub, wrap and moisturizer leaving skin smooth, soft and smelling lovely. $85.00

Sojourner Giving Tree: Beginning the day following Thanksgiving, guests can support the Sojourner Center through the Joya Spa Giving Tree. Spa guests are encouraged to select a wish card from the tree and purchase the gift requested on the card. When the guest returns with the item requested, they will receive a certificate good towards $20 off their next regularly priced service of 50 minutes or more. The Giving Tree program benefits the Sojourner Center's Circle of Hope 2010 Holiday Program which provides the opportunity for families to celebrate the holidays safely. The gifts will be collected by the Sojourner Center and displayed so the families have the option of selecting their holiday gifts in a store-like setting.

Tree Lighting Ceremony
On Wednesday, December 1st from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., guests are invited to celebrate the kickoff of the holiday season at the Third Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony. Featuring snow for the children, live performances by the Alice Tatum Trio, complimentary wine and cheese tasting, story time with Mrs. Clause for the children and a wide array of holiday treats including a sampling of Julia Baker gourmet chocolates, there will be something for every guest to enjoy.

Christmas

Christmas Eve: Join Prado for Christmas Eve dinner from 5:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. featuring three and four course menus highlighted by dishes including Skate ‘a la Plancha, Pork ‘Ossobucco', Hanger Steak and dessert by Julia Baker. The Mediterranean-inspired menu, designed by Prado Chef de Cuisine, Claudio Urciuoli, is priced at $75 per person for three courses, and $85 per person for four courses, exclusive of tax and gratuity.

Christmas Day: Christmas Day dining is hassle-free at Prado Restaurant. Guests are invited to enjoy multiple course lunch and dinner options throughout the holiday. A three course Christmas lunch, showcasing a choice of dishes including ‘Gioia' Burrata, Branzino with Chardonnay Vinaigrette, and Julia Baker Dessert, is available from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. for $45 per person. Dinner options are abundant with the choice of three, four or five course menus crafted by Chef de Cuisine, Claudio Urciuoli. Highlights of the multiple course menu include Carne Cruda of Steak Tartare, ‘Gioia' Burricotta, Burrida di Pesce, Pork ‘Ossobucco' and a selection of desserts by Julia Baker. Dinner is served from 5:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. and reservations are strongly encouraged. Pricing is $75 per person for the three course menu, $85 for the four course menu and $95 for the five course menu, exclusive of tax and gratuity.
