Five-Star Hotel in Rome Offers Virtual Flower Arranging Class

Sofitel Rome Villa Borghese is offering a unique floral arranging tutorial from premier Italian floral designer Flavia Bruni.

Atop Settimo, the hotel’s elegant garden-inspired rooftop restaurant, Bruni guides travelers AT HOME with step-by-step instructions to create a beautiful floral centerpiece. The only Italian Floral Designer recognized by the American Institute of Floral Design (AIFD), Bruni offers her expertise on flower varieties, care instructions, and more. The floral arrangement tutorial can be found here and on the hotel’s Facebook and Instagram.

This virtual experience is only a preview to the in-person experience being launched at the hotel this fall and beyond when US travelers are once again welcome in Europe. The experience will include prosecco and light bites and  take place at Settimo or on a guest’s private suite terrace based on preference. A visit to the local flower market with Bruni is also optional.

Flavia Bruni, the only Italian Floral Designer recognized by the American Institute of Floral Design (AIFD) and certified by the European Master Certification (EMC), acquired her knowledge by attending professional training courses in Italy and abroad. Engaged for years as a teacher of floral art at the Daisy Flowers Laboratory she founded in 1999, Flavia designs floral arrangements for individuals and companies, and collaborates with companies that organize events and ceremonies.
