Flexjet Reveals Americans' Top 10 Labor Day Getaways
Each year's list says a lot about the interests, passions and travel trends of Flexjet's clients, who include many of the wealthiest Americans.

What's interesting is how fast things change. In 2016, for instance, only three of last year's top 10 Labor Day destinations return – New York City, Aspen and Southwest Texas, which coincidentally rank 1-2-3 this year. Destinations such as Telluride, Sun Valley, Hilton Head and Martha's Vineyard also make this year's list.

While resorts dominate the top 10, other factors can come into play, too. Scottsdale is on this year's list partly because nearby Arizona State University's football team has its home opener this weekend. Last year, South Bend, Indiana, made the list because Notre Dame's team had its home opener that weekend.
