A five star (grading pending), traditional castle hotel, Fonab is nestled on the banks of Loch Faskally amidst breath taking highland scenery. The hotel will have a total of 31 rooms, 13 of which are housed in the castle. Another 18 rooms, most of which have direct access to the lochside, are located in a tasteful modern addition.

At the heart of the castle accommodation is the bridal suite featuring a luxurious, oversized bed and a vaulted ceiling as well as a separate luxury bathroom and walk-in shower.

Fonab Castle Hotel will feature 36 rustic, yet luxurious lodges and have private hot tubs within its extensive grounds.

Originally built for the Sandeman family, the port and sherry merchants, the hotel is aiming at five star level and will feature a panoramic, glass fronted restaurant with stunning loch views, serving delicious, locally and internationally inspired dishes in a stylish, yet casual setting.

Additional facilities include heated and air-conditioned dog kennels, and a destination spa – complete with treatment rooms, gym and pool - is set to open later in 2013.
