Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts Opens Two New Hotels in Asia
Four Seasons Hotel Baku (rendering pictured) is the first Four Seasons property in Azerbaijan. Once a well-kept secret among oil industry executives, Baku, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is attracting interest of a much broader range of travelers, especially with its rich cultural history, vibrant art scene, designer shopping and developing wine industry. The new property from Four Seasons is located on the shores of the Caspian Sea, and features 171 rooms and suites, four restaurants and bars, and the Jaleh Spa and Pool. Also opened for reservations is Four Seasons Hotel Pudong, Shanghai, the second Four Seasons property in Shanghai, and the second of three new properties to open in China this year (Guangzhou opened in July, with Beijing opening in September). This property is located in Pudong's Lujiazhui business district in the newly-built 55-story 21st Century Tower, and features 187 rooms and suites, two restaurants, and FLARE spa, which uses products from GUERLAIN.
