The Great Fosters estate near Windsor has partnered with St James’s Hotel & Club in Mayfair to continue The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations — offering guests a multi-destination stay that celebrates the very best of British.
Looking to combine the vibrancy of London with the serenity of the Surrey countryside, the two hotels are now providing guests with the opportunity to spend 48 hours being treated like royalty in an experience that has been named the ‘Royal Jubilation Town & Country Break’.
The Great Fosters estate is offering an abundance of platinum-inspired surprises throughout the stay — including the option of either a platinum afternoon tea or a platinum picnic, as well as a concierge service for local attractions in Windsor throughout the day. Guests will also receive £100 in credit towards dinner in its 2-AA rosette Estate Grill or the Michelin-starred Tony Parkin at The Tudor Room, before retiring to a luxury suite for the night. Each room will also feature a decanter of The Queen’s favourite cocktail with a Great Fosters twist (a Dubonnet Negroni).
A 5-star boutique hotel located in a quiet cul-de-sac in the heart of Mayfair, St James’s Hotel & Club is just minutes from Buckingham Palace. It will also be offering an array of jubilee inspired experiences — underpinned by some of the best guest room terraces in London. The royal setting will be offering a platinum jubilee edition afternoon tea as well as £100 in credit towards dinner in its Michelin-starred restaurant, Seven Park Place by William Drabble, or their more casual dining options.
Wherever guests decide to commence their royal break, both hotels are happy to help arrange a car to transfer them between locations if needed, which will take around one hour depending on traffic — whilst the option of rail travel is also available from stations near both hotels.
