Hangzhou's Fuchun Resort Hailed as Finest Resort in Asia
Nestled among picturesque hills and lush tea terraces, the 150-acre private resort received four honors at the prestigious World Travel Awards (WTA), plus other premier accolades from SpaFinder, Travel+ and City Traveler magazines.

Fuchun Resort topped several luxury categories at the 2012 World Travel Awards, regarded as the ‘Oscars of the travel industry'. Fuchun Resort was named Asia's Leading Luxury Golf Resort and China's Leading Spa Resort. Its private villas nestled amongst lush, tea-covered hills were also acclaimed, winning both Asia's Leading Luxury Villa and Asia's Leading Villa.

This is the third consecutive year that Fuchun Resort has been named Asia's Leading Luxury Golf Resort and the sixth consecutive year that is has won Asia's Leading Villa at the World Travel Awards. Fuchun Resort's General Manager Max Shih accepted this suite of top accolades at the star-studded WTA ceremony hosted in Singapore on 18 October 2012.

In other awards news in October, Fuchun Resort was named Best Resort Hotel by Travel+ magazine and Best Vacation Destination Hotel at the City Traveler Best Hotel Awards. The Spa at Fuchun Resort was also named Favorite Spa in China by the world's leading spa travel website, SpaFinder.

These global awards are a major coup for the independently owned resort and member of both Leading Hotels of the World and Leading Spas.

Earlier in 2012, Fuchun Resort received another impressive haul of major accolades, including the Best Luxury Resort Spa in China at the World Spa Awards and two honors at the National Geographic Traveler China Awards: Best Hotel Spa and Best Urban Holiday Hotel in China.
