GHM Hotels to Open Chedi Club at Top of Suzhou Skyscraper
Featuring just 36 rooms, the hotel is being developed on the top three floors of the Global 188 skyscraper, which contains a mixture of upscale offices and commercial outlets. The Chedi Club will feature a rooftop restaurant, health club and spa. Global 188 is located in downtown Suzhou with panoramic views of the central business district and a number of water features including Jin Ji Lake, the Yangtze River and various canals. Suzhou is located 20 minutes by high-speed train from Shanghai and is known for its classical gardens, traditional waterside architecture and historical heritage dating back to its time as the capital of the Kingdom of Wu from the 12th to 4th centuries BCE.
