Gleneagles Announces Autumn Adventure & Activity Pass

Gleneagles Announces Autumn Adventure & Activity Pass

This September, Gleneagles presents a new Autumn Adventure, with the launch of an exclusive guest pass offering a suite of unique estate experiences. From 3 September to 30 November, the Autumn Adventure & Activity Pass promises a true taste of the ‘Glorious Playground’, complete with a Field Archery lesson, an insightful Owl Experience, an evening Moor & Woodland walk and the chance to be dazzled by the dark skies in a Star Gazing class.

Available from Sunday to Thursday each week, the Activity Pass allows guests to unlock their inner Robin Hood by the banks of Laich Loch as they master the skill of field archery with Gleneagles’ resident experts, before hot chocolate and fire-roasted smores to warm the cockles. As dusk draws in and the skies darken, passholders will then head to The Mews for a deep dive into the unique characteristics of Scotland’s native owls, with the chance to get up close and personal with these magnificent creatures.

On the evening Moor & Woodland walk, guests will be able to enjoy a leisurely countryside walk, taking in the crisp Scottish air, whilst playing witness to the enchanting autumnal colors that sweep across this unique landscape, and listen for and spot local owls in the wild - a chance to put guests’ newly acquired knowledge to the test!

Gleneagles’ resident whisky and cigar bar, The Inglenook, will welcome pass holders to sit back and relax in front of the roaring fire with a complimentary Talisker whisky cocktail in hand, accompanied by scrumptious local game croquettes.

For an after-dinner delight, guests can discover their inner Galileo through the lens of a telescope with Star Gazing on the lawn - the low levels of light pollution and the expanding dark skies make Scotland one of the best regions for stargazers - before turning in for the night in one of the hotel’s luxurious bedrooms.

Outside of the Autumn Adventure & Activity Pass package, guests can extend their itinerary with over 50 activities to choose from - from cycling through the local countryside, casting fishing flies at Laich Loch, and horse-riding on cross-country trails, to cracking clays and shooting arrows at the shooting range. For those seeking a touch of pampering, The Spa at Gleneagles is Scotland’s leading wellness destination, with innovative treatments containing healing botanicals from the Scottish landscape, as well as being the first country hotel in the UK to open a Dr. Barbara Sturm skin clinic. Guests also have the country’s finest dining at their fingertips, with Restaurant Andrew Fairlie (Scotland’s only two Michelin Star restaurant), The Strathearn - a classic modern Scottish fine dining restaurant inspired by the golden age of railway travel - the 1920s inspired American Bar and the glamorous Century Bar catering to guests’ every whim from sunrise to sundown.

The Autumn Adventure & Activity Pass is available from 3 September to 30 November 2023, excluding 5-31 October, and is priced from £350 per room per night in November and from £495 in September and October. The Autumn Adventure & Activity Pass includes access to the Inglenook, three dedicated outdoor experiences, a complimentary room upgrade and the renowned Gleneagles Scottish breakfast daily. Guests can also enjoy Gleneagles’ state-of-the-art wellness facilities, including the gym, sauna, steam room and swimming pools.
