Golden Door Spa: Your Passport to Wellness

Golden Door Spa: Your Passport to Wellness

Located in a serene valley a few miles north of San Diego in Escondido, CA, Golden Door relaunched about 5 years ago after a $15 million renovation, and was named the "#1 Spa in the World" by CN Traveller in their March 2019 issue. The legendary wellness retreat is one of the only perfectly zen structures built in North America, and is very Japanese in thought, modeled after a traditional Japanese Ryokan.

A destination frequented by many high-profile guests including A-list actors, industry execs and CEOs of Fortune 500 companies, Golden Door has remained singular, offering an experience that is exclusive and highly personalized. What makes it unlike any other wellness program is that the price you pay is all-inclusive of treatments, classes and meals, and every guest’s stay is thoughtfully designed and curated to meet the specific goals and needs of each individual. At the Door, there is a 4:1 staff ratio, and they only accept 40 guests each week to ensure every guest receives the VIP treatment. Located on 600 acres of land that includes hiking trails, orange groves and their own organic garden, Golden Door can be anything you want it to be- everything is taken care of for you and all you have to do is relax, restore and refresh your mind, body and spirit.

In addition, Golden Door donates 100% of profits to charitable causes that match the mission and objectives of the property. Along with their standard women only weeks, Golden Door offers a selection of co-ed weeks and men only weeks throughout the year. The full 7-day program costs $9,650 per person.
