Mallorca's Gran Hotel Son Net Launches First Golf Tournament
The tournament is aimed at golfers of varying handicaps who want to participate in a friendly, competitive environment. The players will be able to enjoy views across the Mallorcan countryside and fields full of almond blossom and play in the island's mild spring climate.

Golf Poniente is based on a John Harris design T and is one of the most established courses in Mallorca which was opened in 1978. Its wide fairways and large greens are challenging for any level of golfer; the 18 holes, par 72 measures 6.430 meters and extend through beautiful rolling hills that are surrounded by majestic pine trees, seven lakes and numerous bunkers. The views from the 8th and 11th holes are spectacular demonstrating the rugged beauty of this course. The course also features a 300 metre flat driving range that can accommodate up to 100 players.

Son Net hotel provides the perfect base to relax after play and enjoy the sumptuous surroundings of this 17th century finca estate located in the spectacular scenery of the Sierra Tramuntana Mountains and located a short 20 minute drive from the course.
