Starting this year, the Grande Dame of Engadine Hospitality, Grand Hotel Kronenhof, is now open to travelers without interruption from June to the beginning of April 2023. While the property formally closed from October to the beginning of December, the property is excited to invite guests to experience the changing seasons of St. Moritz as the Engadine slowly transforms from a golden autumn paradise into a glitzy winter wonderland.
During the fall, travelers will find attractive rates and half board included in all stays. Additionally, guests will receive complete access to the property’s incredible on-site spa and the newly renovated Bel Étage, which highlights eye-catching designs and varying shades of blue inspired by the skies and lakes of St. Moritz.
“We no longer want to deprive our guests of the Engadine in late autumn. In past years, the property has closed exactly when the autumn colors were at their most beautiful, but this year travelers will have the opportunity to experience the full splendor of the famous Engadine “Indian Summer,” said Mr. Marc Eichenberger, the General Manager of Grand Hotel Kronenhof.
Visitors will have the opportunity to relax and indulge at The Kronenhof Spa. Guests can take a dip in the pool or jacuzzi and recharge in the saunas and brine grottos while admiring the incredible views of the pristine Roseg Glacier.
Mr. Eichenberger added, “Towards the end of November, winter begins, meaning empty pistes and cross-country trails with perfect conditions.” As a result, travelers who arrive at the property at the beginning of the winter season will find uncrowded slopes and cross-country ski runs before the holiday rush drives visitor numbers up.
Exclusively for direct bookers, the property will offer double-occupancy rooms with half board starting at CHF 395 / night. Rates are valid from October 23 to December 6, 2022, subject to availability.
