Grand Hyatt Kauai Resort & Spa Kicks Off Holidays with Celebratory Experiences for Guests

Grand Hyatt Kauai Resort & Spa, a luxurious 605-room resort located on 50 immaculately-landscaped oceanfront acres overlooking Keoneloa Bay, announces its holiday travel experiences for guests. The resort welcomes travelers for a bountiful Thanksgiving buffet, a tree lighting ceremony, and several family activities to help guests enhance their seasonal getaway.

“We are thrilled to welcome guests for an unforgettable holiday season in paradise,” said Michael Murphy, general manager of Grand Hyatt Kauai Resort & Spa. “Our team has created an incredible schedule of events that captures the magic of the season here on the Garden Island. Guests can also enjoy Hawaii’s year-round warm weather at our multi-level pool complex, several outdoor activities, and delicious island-inspired dining opportunities.”

The resort will kick-off the early holiday festivities with an extravagant Thanksgiving buffet. Taking place at the resort’s Ilima Terrace, which features spanning ocean views, diners can enjoy classic holiday dishes paired with island favorites ranging from fresh caught island fish braised local style to a Hawaiian sea salt and black pepper-crusted prime rib.

Following the Thanksgiving celebration, the resort will host its inaugural tree lighting ceremony on Friday, November 29 at 6 p.m. Guests are invited to join the resort’s team as they officially light the oversized holiday tree located at the property’s entrance. The event will also feature the Wailele Kokoleka (chocolate waterfall) display, a winter wonderland-themed gingerbread village created by the resort’s pastry team, live music, and Hawaiian Hale photo opportunities.

Additionally, the resort hosts a daily local vendor showcase of Kauai-made arts and goods ideal for holiday shopping. Guests also enjoy live local music nightly at Seaview Terrace, and several family activities ranging from cookie decorating sessions and “Santa Surfing” at the on-site lagoon to waterslide races.
