Grand Resort Bad Ragaz commemorates the start of the festive season with a time-honored tradition, the Festival of Lights. Set for November 23, 2024, the evening commences with an aperitif at the elegant Hof Bar where guests can enjoy views of the snow capped mountains or find a cozy chair in front of the fireplace. The highlight of the celebration is the illumination of the resort’s enchanting sequoia tree, which stands over 130 feet tall adorned with 30,000 dazzling lights. At over 120 years old, the sequoia tree is one of the tallest living Christmas trees around the world.
Experience a Michelin-Starred Holiday Meal
Beyond its reputation as one of Europe’s leading wellness destinations, Grand Resort Bad Ragaz is an award-winning culinary destination with a remarkable six Michelin stars and one Green Michelin star. This holiday season, guests can trade their apron for a seat at Chef Sven Wassmer's three-star restaurant Memories, two-star restaurant IGNIV by Andreas Caminada, and one-star restaurant verve by sven. Special menus include a five-course Christmas Eve dinner at verve by sven that ends on a sweet note with Charlotte Royal for dessert and a four-course menu at IGNIV with additional surprises built into the evening. Both restaurants are also offering separate menus for Christmas Day dinner. The pinnacle for any epicurean is the nine-course New Year’s Eve dinner at Memories featuring Chef Wassmer’s signature dishes.
Retreat to the Private Spa for Peaceful Relaxation & Pampering
Three hours of bliss await couples who take advantage of this special festive season offer. From December 20, 2024 - January 8, 2025, guests can escape to a 1,076-square-foot Private Spa hidden within the resort’s luxury wellness area. Much more than a treatment room, the private spa features a whirlpool, steam bath, sauna, hydromassage shower, and a separate treatment and dining area with garden terrace. The festive offer includes three hours of uninterrupted access to the private spa as well as a 50-minute couple’s aromatic massage, one bottle of Dom Pérignon, and a two-course meal from verve by sven.
Ring in the New Year at a Party Reserved for the Littlest Guests
From a dedicated Children’s Villa with its own kitchen, TV and gaming rooms; to the Family Spa where kids can learn mermaid swimming and play in their own thermal pool; and spa treatments and a plush bathrobe designed for the resort’s smallest guests, children are never an afterthought at Grand Resort Bad Ragaz. This holds true for the festive season. Grand Resort Bad Ragaz is planning “A Big Party for Little Guests” on December 31, 2024.
