This fall, Grenada will burst into bloom with the launch of its first-ever national Flower Festival from November 8-15, 2026. The eight-day festival will celebrate the island’s botanical heritage while showcasing the talents of local growers, floral designers, and horticultural communities. After earning international recognition with 18 gold award-winning displays at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show in London, Grenada will now invite visitors to experience its floral creativity at its source.
The festival will open at Myristic Mountain with a family day set amid a tropical rainforest. Visitors can join a guided waterfall hike and forest walks before enjoying local food, live entertainment, family-friendly activities, and the official welcome ceremony. The following day, the Gardens & Scents tour will lead visitors through the Botanical Gardens, Tower Estate, Gemrose Garden, and T’s Eco Garden. Along the way, guests will discover tropical orchids, succulents, historic plants, and towering trees, and learn how botanicals such as West Indian bay, ylang-ylang, allspice, mace, and vanilla are transformed into scent.
The tour will also explore Grenada's botanical heritage through its food and drink. The Sip & Stir tour will combine a local lunch and behind-the-scenes rum factory visit with a hands-on cocktail-making session using fresh garden ingredients, followed by a beachside rum tasting at sunset. Elsewhere, visitors can enjoy tea on the veranda following a tour of Smithy’s Garden or visit Fort Frederick and Palm Tree Gardens before sitting down to lunch beside the cascading waters of Annandale Waterfall.
