Winter 2023 Happenings at Gstaad Palace:

  • Greengo celebrates 50 iconic years -- special  DJ residency by one of the world’s top DJs to be announced soon!

Greengo is the first (and some might argue only) night club in the charming chalet village that’s become a favorite destination for A-listers, international jet-set, dignitaries, celebrities, and the global elite. Greengo is famed for its exclusivity and alluring all-night parties.. where the revelers dance under the neon lights and twirling disco ball while looking out over the Palace’s indoor pool and panoramic views of the Swiss Alps. Madonna, Elizabeth Taylor, Richard Burton, Princess Di, and many others spent legendary nights at GreenGo.. many of those nights ending in skinny dipping. GreenGo is a Swiss chalet version of Studio 54 and retains much of the same charm + character found 50 years ago when it first opened… but now the walls hold endless glamorous secrets and scandal.

  • Opening of The Black Wall - a new run and one of the steepest in the world, perfect for true dare devils and expert level skiers.

New this winter is The Black Wall, a brand new run at Glacier 3000. Connecting the intermediate station Cabane to the Col du Pillon, this new black slope crosses the cliff thanks to a 265 meters long tunnel. At the exit of the tunnel, the run begins with a 41° section, making it one of the steepest slopes in the world. It is a third slope of more than 1’000 meters of altitude difference that completes the offer of Glacier 3000, with the Olden Slope (7 km) and the Red Run (8 km).

  • The GoldenPass -- New train route makes it easier than ever to reach the wintertime paradise of Gstaad!

The pioneers of the 19th century dreamed of it, the GoldenPass Express will now become reality. From 11 December 2022, this train seamlessly connects Montreux, Gstaad and Interlaken without change.  The journey is a stunning spectacular – as the awe-inspiring landscape of the Swiss Alps gently rolls by, champagne and amuse-bouches are served.

  • Christmas at The Palace -- Celebrate the magic of the season with festive feasts, choir performances, and more.

Spend Christmas Eve fireside admiring endless wintery views of the snow-sparking alps with champagne in hand. Luxuriate over a delicious five-course dinner in Le Grand Restaurant or Le Grill. And of course, the musical entertainment does not come short and children can enjoy a Christmas movie and spend a joyful evening together.
