Celebrate the art of traditional holiday cooking and learn the secrets of making seasonal root vegetables roasted to perfection, delicious herb-brined pork loin and more. This fun, interactive culinary experience teaches the preparation of a variety of festive dishes, bright with holiday colors and rich with seasonal flavors. Menu includes Butternut Squash Soup, Oven-Roasted Pork Loin and Roasted Brussels Sprouts. Experience includes a Meadowood apron, ingredients and sampling during the class. Add a celebratory touch to holiday parties with the perfect festive libations. This class teaches three classic holiday recipes: Holiday Rum Punch, Champagne Cocktail and Spiced Whiskey Mule. Learn exceptional techniques for preparing and serving delicious cocktails to parties of all sizes, incorporating traditional holiday flavors and creating beautiful presentations with seasonal garnishes. A Meadowood sommelier hosts this dynamic wine experience featuring sparkling wines from around the world. Taste through the glistening flight and enjoy the unique stories of these wines and the regions in which they are produced: Champagne, Sekt, Prosecco, Cava and Sparkling Wine. Chef Victoria Acosta has designed special Home for the Holidays with Meadowood menus to enjoy throughout the month of December in The Grill and Private in-room dining. The varying lunch, dinner and Private Dining menus include scrumptious fare such as Red Kuri Squash with Dungeness Crab, Coriander and Fingerlime; Sonoma Duck with Butter Bean, Foie Gras and Lemon Thyme Jus; Celery Root Agnolotti with Black Truffle, Meadowood Garden Carrot and Parmesan; and Comice Pear with Brown Butter Cake, Ginger and Madagascar Vanilla.
