The iconic Hotel Adlon Kempinski Berlin will once again transform into a magnificently decorated holiday fairy tale setting starting in late November, complete with reindeer sleighs, a life-sized Christmas teddy bear, live gospel choir music and more festive magic. Guests can also reserve their very own decorated Christmas tree in their room or suite at the Adlon to create their “home away from home” for the holidays.
In the Bel Etage, at the heart of the hotel, guests can enjoy the festive Adlon Advent Afternoon Tea throughout the holiday season. Accompanied by live piano music, the tea features a selection of winter teas, canapés, caviar, lobster bisque with cognac, freshly baked scones, a mini version of the Adlon’s signature chocolate-and-hazelnut cake and a winter apple dessert with speculoos crumble. On Christmas Eve, a Christmas Buffet will feature the finest seasonal delicacies accompanied by live music; and on Christmas Day, the Adlon Champagne Holiday Brunch will feature specialties such as oysters, goose and duck carved to order, as well as halibut fillet with Champagne sauce.
At the Brasserie Quarré, from November 11 through December 23, 2026, as well as on December 26th, guests can try the traditional Three-Course Goose Dinner, with views of the Brandenburg Gate. On all four Sundays prior to Christmas Eve, the brasserie will host an exclusive Champagne Brunch with roasted goose and duck, grilled Label Rouge salmon fillet, truffle gnocchi, warm stuffed apples and a gingerbread-chocolate fountain, all accompanied by live music. On December 24 and 25, Brasserie Quarré will serve an exquisite Four-Course Christmas Menu, featuring such delicacies as scallops, pink-roasted Mieral duck breast, and a dessert called “White Christmas” made with white chocolate and Baumkuchen.
The Michelin-starred Lorenz Adlon Esszimmer will offer an extravagant Six-Course Festive Menu, including Breton sole, Carabinero Rosso and Imperial caviar; farm-raised duck from the Polting estate; saddle of venison; and a decadent dessert made with blood orange, cardamom and hints of caramel.
Taking a break from the Christmas festivities, the Adlon Spa offers a heated indoor pool, Jacuzzi, aromatic and massage showers, a 24-hour gym, rejuvenating winter rituals, and Private Spa Suites with their own sauna and personal whirlpool. Guests can find festive floral arrangements and Adlon souvenirs at the Adlon Flower Atelier & Boutique, including traditional handcrafted Advent wreaths, festive floral arrangements and the Adlon’s signature Stollen. On November 28, guests can design their own personalized, one-of-a-kind wreath at an expert-led workshop at the Flower Atelier. The majestic Hotel Adlon Kempinski Berlin is located in the heart of Berlin, facing the city's iconic Brandenburg Gate, where the elegant Pariser Platz meets the Unter den Linden boulevard. Opened in 1907 by Kaiser Wilhelm II, the Adlon survived both world wars, only to be destroyed by fire after the close of World War II. The Hotel Adlon Kempinksi Berlin, an architectural homage to the original, was opened in 1997 by the President of Germany, celebrating the legendary hotel’s rebirth in the center of the capital of a reunified Germany.
