In celebration of the spring and upcoming summer travel seasons, Hotel Metropole Monte-Carlo has partnered with luxury travel company Black Tomato. In tandem with the rising “set-jetting” trend, or travel inspired by popular film and TV shows, Hotel Metropole Monte-Carlo and Black Tomato have joined together to offer travelers an extravagant, one-of-a-kind “James Bond 007” experience in Monaco.
The backdrop to the iconic GoldenEye films, Black Tomato designed an immersive journey in Monaco reflective of the characters’ adventures across the destination, in collaboration with EON Productions and the 007 franchise. Dubbed “The Assignment,” the experience features a luxurious stay at the Belle Époque-style Hotel Metropole Monte-Carlo, the only independently-owned five-star property in the Principality. Guests will be greeted upon arrival with welcome amenities inclusive of “shaken not stirred martinis” in true Bond fashion, lunch for two at the onsite Yoshi, the only Michelin-starred Japanese restaurant on the Côte d'Azur, dinner for two at the grand new restaurant concept slated to open for summer, “Les Ambassadeurs by Cussac” led by Executive Chef Christophe Cussac, and two sumptuous treatments at Spa Metropole by Givenchy, one of three Givenchy spas in the world, for relaxation in between the action and adventure.
Hotel Metropole Monte-Carlo is conveniently situated mere steps away from the famed Casino de Monte-Carlo, and arguably Bond’s favorite casino for a high-stake evening. In addition to a private, behind-the-scenes tour of this renowned institution inclusive of an optional encounter with Andreas Daniel who consulted on Texas Hold’em for Casino Royale (2006), the experience features a private helicopter flyover of Monaco, a lavish private yacht charter along the Côte d’Azur with glimmering views of the coastline, and exclusive fine dining experiences.
Inspired by Monaco’s culture, history and the arts, Hotel Metropole Monte-Carlo also boasts its signature “Just For You” program, which features a set of luxurious and personalized guest activities that are unique to its location, including its most extravagant “From Metropole With Love” experience, another nod to Bond.
