Hotel Plaza Athenee New York Completes Renovation
A total of 78 rooms, including all suites, were completely renovated from top to bottom in a variety of styles and décor, giving each room an individual look and feel. Additional items to enhance the new decor include luxurious Italian bed linens, Asian-inspired silks, plasma TVs, sitting areas, writing desks and wireless Internet service. A selection of guest rooms and suites feature enlarged marble bathrooms with deep soaking tubs and dual sinks, as well as glass enclosed atriums and outdoor terraces with breathtaking views of the Manhattan skylines.

The hotel also added four premier luxury suites to its room mix, including two Presidential Suites featuring 2,000 palatial square feet of space, and will open a new spa facilities in spring 2010. The architectural firm of Stephen B. Jacobs Group and affiliate interior design firm of Andi Pepper Interior Design were retained to oversee this renovation.
