INCA, Galapagos Specialist Announces New 'Safari' for 2016
INCA's new 12-day Galápagos Safari features an intensive two days on Santa Cruz Island with a choice of eight adventures staying at the "Out-of-Africa"-style Galápagos Safari Camp. Starting at $6,995, the adventure also includes INCA's carefully-crafted eight-day itinerary aboard the 141-foot yacht Integrity, known as the "finest yacht" in the Islands and two nights in Quito, a UNESCO World Heritage site.

"Our exclusive itinerary really offers the best of the Galápagos," explained Bill Roberson, INCA's president. "Our guests can choose a variety of options – at different fitness levels – to explore the flora and fauna on Santa Cruz including walking in the highlands with wild tortoises, hiking up volcanoes, and visiting the Charles Darwin Research Station. Then, our 16-passenger luxury yacht Integrity will take them to some of the most fascinating islands in the Galápagos not always included on other itineraries," said Roberson.

Spread over 135 acres in the highlands of Santa Cruz, the Galapagos Safari Camp has magnificent views of the Pacific Ocean. The stylish camp has a panoramic lodge, nine spacious luxury tents set on wooden platforms and an infinity pool.

On the Galápagos Safari, INCA guests can follow the giant tortoises in the highlands; hike up the volcanic cone of Puntudo, a birdwatchers' paradise; kayak or mountain bike around Cerro Mesa, the island's largest crater; visit a sustainable coffee plantation and walk out to beautiful Tortuga Bay and snorkel amid abundant marine life
A trip to the Galápagos – like an African safari – offers travelers the chance to get up close to rare animals and birds. The difference is that in "Darwin's Zoo" the wildlife has no fear of humans. Sea lions somersault through the water, while 300-pound green sea turtles glide by. While courting, waved albatross "fence" with their beaks, and during breeding season, the red throat pouch of the male great frigatebird swells dramatically.

Celebrating its 40th anniversary this year, the luxury adventure company is offering eleven distinct itineraries exploring the Galápagos Islands with extensions to the Amazon, Peru, and the Ecuadorian countryside.

INCA's new 12-day Galapagos Safari starts at $6,995 and includes all yacht and hotel accommodations; all meals, non-alcoholic beverages and draft beer while on the yacht; all guides, activities, tours and sightseeing arrangements; use of kayaks and snorkel equipment on yacht, roundtrip airport transfers and all arrangements as specified on the itinerary. Not included are airfare, airport taxes and fees; Galápagos National Park fee; Galápagos yacht fuel surcharge; tips for yacht crews, guides or naturalist; wetsuits, and other items of a personal nature.
