InterContinental Hua Hin Offers Authentic Thai Cooking Classes

InterContinental Hua Hin Offers Authentic Thai Cooking Classes
The luxury 119-room flagship resort of Hua Hin draws its inspiration from the Summer Palace of King Rama VI, offering guests an immersion into authentic Thai heritage which can now be enjoyed even more with InterContinental's new cooking class promotions.

The resort's 'Thai Cooking' classes will involve a truly Thai trip into town on a tuk-tuk to visit Hua Hin's traditional fruit and vegetable market. Chefs will advise on purchases and educate guests on the available ingredients before returning to Pirom restaurant to whip up an authentic taste of Thailand.

In addition, Intercontinental is offering guests the opportunity to combine the 'Thai Cooking' classes with a boat trip to the local TAKEAB fish market to make purchases before heading back for expert tuition in preparing and barbequing fresh fish.

The 'Family Masterchef' courses provide a day of family-orientated culinary experiences, with adult classes consisting of step-by-step guides on the creation of either two Thai dishes or two Italian dishes hosted by expert Chefs Lek and Jinajog.

The children's classes will also be taught by the resort's warm and friendly culinary experts, teaching children to create delicious baked pastries, cakes, breads and delicious chocolate-based treats to satisfy their sweet tooth.
