Intercontinental Tahiti Resort & Spa Unveils Renovated Premium Rooms and Suites

InterContinental Tahiti Resort & Spa, set along Tahiti’s beautiful lagoon, is pleased to unveil newly renovated premium rooms and suites. Marking an exciting new chapter for the resort, the refreshed accommodations bring a renewed sense of space and contemporary Polynesian elegance to some of the resort’s most sought-after accommodations.

The premium rooms and suites now introduce better-organized and more functional layouts, offering a seamless connection between the indoors and the surrounding landscape. Preserving the property's architectural identity and emblematic historic features, the new décor offers a modern, elegant, and timeless interpretation of Polynesian identity while creating a more contemporary, comfortable, and refined guest experience.

With completely reimagined bedrooms featuring smoother lines, rounded forms, and softer organic shapes, the spaces introduce a more refined and contemporary aesthetic. The entrance, storage areas, and living zones have been thoughtfully redesigned to improve circulation and maximize the use of space, while entirely renewed indoor furnishings bring a contemporary, integrated, and multifunctional approach that enhances comfort and cohesion throughout the room. Lighter tones, indirect lighting, and new lighting features create a softer, warmer, and more luminous atmosphere, while the updated interiors offer a timeless balance of elegance, comfort, and functionality.

Bathrooms have been entirely redesigned to create a more open, fluid, and bright environment with an increased sense of space. The new layouts deliver a more wellness-inspired atmosphere, complementing the resort's tranquil setting while elevating everyday comfort through refined finishes and improved functionality.

Designed as a natural extension of each accommodation, the terraces have also been completely refreshed with modern outdoor furnishings in understated natural tones. The new configuration places greater emphasis on the surrounding views, offering an inviting outdoor living space overlooking the tropical gardens, Lotus infinity pool, and Moorea's iconic sunset over the Pacific Ocean.

Designed for couples, families, and travelers seeking additional comfort and available for stays beginning December 1st, 2026, the newly available categories include:

● Premium Garden View (2 Queen Beds)

● Premium Ocean View (2 Queen Beds, 1 King Bed)

● Premium Deluxe Ocean View (1 King Bed)

● Junior Suite (1 King Bed)

● One Bedroom King Suite Ocean View (Antares Suite)

This latest room renovation follows a recent series of exciting new openings and enhancements to the resort, including the debut of Huriama Garden, the reopening of the renovated Te Tiare pool, and the addition of two new padel courts in 2025.
