Jackson Hole's Snow King Resort Unveils New 9,000 Square Foot Spa

Snow King Resort announced the unveiling of its brand new 9,000 square foot Grand View Spa this month, making it the largest full-service resort and spa in Jackson Hole, according to General Manager Gregg Fracassa.

The spa, located on the second floor of the resort’s Grand View Lodge, features five treatment rooms, a couple’s suite, private men’s and women’s lounges with fireplaces, a co-ed infrared sauna, experiential showers, Eucalyptus steam rooms, hot tubs, movement studio, retail boutique and a scenic outdoor deck and hot tub with views of Snow King Mountain.

Grand View Spa is also the first and only resort spa known in Wyoming, to feature a co-ed halotherapy salt lounge.   Known for its natural, anti-inflammatory healing benefits, halotherapy is an effective way of using salt’s natural anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties to help provide relief for skin conditions, allergies, respiratory ailments and sleeplessness.  It has long been used as an alternative treatment for lung problems including asthma, bronchitis and cough.

Another first for Wyoming’s resort and spa industry, Grand View Spa has partnered with the well-known, science-backed skin health company, Skin Authority, and is not only utilizing its FDA-approved Air Beautification Filtration System in every treatment room including the lounges and public spaces, but is also be the only resort spa in Wyoming to exclusively carry the brand’s retail products.

Open to resort guests and locals alike, and reflecting the iconic environment that surrounds it, Jackson Hole’s Grand View Spa pays homage to the region, incorporating the natural elements of water, salt, stone and wood to create a personalized palette and spa experience that mirrors its surroundings.

As a result, an array of enriching body treatments, massages and facials for men and women have been specifically designed to celebrate the spirit of the region.  Signature spa treatments exclusive to Grand View Spa include its Rocky Mountain High massage using various CBD oils and lotions; the Mountain Zen Scrub combining mineral-rich salts and intuitively selected aromatherapy oils, and the Forest Retreat Facial utilizing the healing properties of hydrating snow and reishi mushrooms combined with purifying birch water.

“The addition of Grand View Spa is not only an added amenity to the resort and local community, but it provides a wellness component for our locals, leisure and group guests,” said Fracassa.  “Wellness is no longer a trend; it is an expectation and way of life.  More and more people are making a concerted effort to be mindful of their surroundings, their well-being and taking part in activities that reflect their health and wellness objectives.  We’re seeing this with groups on a daily basis who are ensuring their attendees have time to get outdoors, hike, take a yoga class or enjoy a spa treatment and we’re seeing the same with couples and individuals when we assist in planning their vacation itineraries,” he said.

According to Fracassa, Grand View Spa also offers memberships that include preferred pricing on spa treatments, food and beverage, and accommodations in addition to other value-added benefits.
