Japanese-Style Afternoon Tea at The Prince Akatoki in London

On Sunday 30th October, The Prince Akatoki in Marylebone will launch its new Koto Afternoon Tea experience, providing a unique flare to a well-loved classic. Inspired by Japan, the Koto Afternoon Tea will feature live music from Japanese musician, Keiko Kitamura, who will play the national string instrument of Japan, koto, to compliment the ambience and allow guests to experience the delights of Japanese culture through all their senses.  Guests visiting for the Koto Afternoon Tea can expect a menu full of fusion blends and authentic Japanese flavours, including savoury delights such as Brioche of seared tuna, avocado, wasabi dressing and Chicken katsu sando, as well as sweet treats including Matcha and pistachio cake and Yuzu crème brûlée. The Koto Afternoon Tea also features a selection of premium teas including the likes of Lalani & Co’s top-grade organic matcha from the Sae Midori single cultivar. For those who would prefer, there’s also the option for a sake pairing with Akashi-Tai’s artisan Japanese Sake.

HOW: The Koto Afternoon Tea at The Prince Akatoki is available one Sunday a month starting Sunday 30thOctober 2022, followed by Sunday 27th November, with two start times of either 12pm or 15pm.
