With this one-of-a-kind package, young guests at the hotel will enjoy an adventure-packed vacation filled with snorkeling, beachside walks, island excursions, a rainforest hike and more. The new program will be offered daily from May 2017 onwards, and invites children to embark on a unique and culturally educational travel experience.

School Under The Sea is an innovative, educational program that introduces children ages six to 12 to the natural environment and Fijian cultural heritage through the eyes of the resort’s marine biologists. Kids explore the realms of an alternative sustainable future. The goal of School Under The Sea is to expand the children’s horizons and help them better understand and appreciate the world around them while learning how they can conserve and protect it. Young guests can join in a wide-ranging program of fun and stimulating activities every day and also learn about the Fijian culture. Daily activities include coral planting; snorkeling; mangrove adventures; rainforest and waterfall excursions; a visit to a local Fijian school; arts and crafts; a treasure hunt; educational presentations; movies, and more. School Under The Sea operates daily, with morning, afternoon, and evening sessions. Parents can enjoy activities on their own, confident that their children are enjoying everything that School Under The Sea has to offer and are well taken care of.

School Under The Sea is offered as a complimentary amenity to all children staying at the resort. In addition to School Under The Sea, Jean-Michel Cousteau Resort offers the Bula Club for Kids, a complimentary award-winning children’s program featuring fun, exploration, educational games, and all kinds of vacation activities that encourage kids to discover the world around them, available from 8:30 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. each day. Young travelers will be paired with one Fijian buddy for a maximum of five kids between the ages of six to 12 years old. Additionally, an exclusive nanny is available daily from 8:30 a.m. – 6:30 p.m. for each child under six years of age, as well as one dedicated nanny per bure from 6:30 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. Teenagers will have a dedicated activities staff member from 8:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
