Silversea will welcome acclaimed writer Paul Theroux aboard Silver Dawn, as he sails roundtrip from Copenhagen on a 14-day sailing from October 6-20, 2023.
Guests traveling on board will enjoy enrichments from celebrated travel writer Paul Theroux and visit nine ports of call, including Copenhagen, Ålesund, Narvik, Leknes, Tromsø, Alta, Sortland, Flåm, and Bergen. A long-time collaborator of Silversea, Theroux will host a talk on his book The Tao of Travel: Enlightenments from Lives on the Road, with a Q&A to follow.
In addition to Theroux's activities, other voyage highlights include exploring Bergen by boat and an introduction to "naustkultur"--Norway's boating and sea culture--on its S.A.L.T. Island Fjord Taste Excursion.
