Launching on an uninhabited island between Jumby Bay and mainland Antigua in November 2024, The Hut, Little Jumby will be the Caribbean’s most sought-after Private Island Beach Club and Restaurant. Following a short ferry excursion that runs every 30 minutes from Jumby Bay, or private boat ride from Antigua’s north coast, guests will be greeted by The Hut team on the private jetty ahead of a day spent eating delicious food on the beach or relaxing in the shade of a cabana on the exclusive white sands of Little Jumby. Perfect for couples looking to relax and unwind, the south beach plays host to The Cabanas, which will provide two sunbeds, shaded beneath a pergola-style roof. On the north beach, more substantial Beach Huts, available for groups between 4 and 10 guests, will provide a private and secluded sanctuary featuring a bar area, comfortable sofas, and sunbeds. Alongside relaxed, all-day dining, guests can enjoy a variety of entertainment, from live bands and DJs to a range of events. Not only a new culinary adventure, The Hut, Little Jumby also signifies a strong commitment to environmental preservation with walking trails that wind through an additional 15 acres of local flora and fauna and an on-island naturalist, ensuring protection for future generations.
UPDATED CULINARY EXPERIENCES AT THE VERANDA BAR AND SAND BAR
Often the first stop for many guests of Jumby Bay Island, and the final place to share a drink before returning to the rest of the world, the open-air Veranda Bar and its adjacent lounge area have been revitalized with expanded bar space and elegant sail shades for added comfort. The abstract redesign introduces a harmonious blend of rich jewel and earth tones to create a refined yet inviting atmosphere, enhancing the tropical setting while preserving a relaxed ambiance. Overlooking the Caribbean Sea, the Sand Bar (formerly The Pool Grille) has also undergone enhancements with a fresh entry pergola, luxury stone details on the infinity pool, and a new intimate sushi bar and lounge area. Incorporation of sustainable materials from open-grain white shiplap and natural oak elevates the aesthetic while highlighting a strong commitment to environmental stewardship.

Seclusion meets gourmet island fare in the most stunning surroundings as ultra chic cabanas by Houses & Parties come to life on the sandy shoreline. Featuring signature linens, custom chair covers, Samuel and Sons trimmings, refined glassware, and Richard Brendon China, the setting is juxtaposed against Sabre bamboo place settings and touches of wicker, from table lampshades to whimsical decorative woven snails. The Castaway Cabana private dining experience includes a multi-course, local tasting menu and drink pairings from wine, champagne, the island’s signature rum cocktail, and the famed Jumby Baba au Rhum – only available as part of this special dinner - created by French Michelin-starred Chef Jean-Luc Lefrancois (Executive Chef at two sister Oetker Collection hotels Chateau Saint-Martin & Spa and L’Apogee Courchevel) during his culinary residency on Jumby Bay Island. TENNIS FACILITY AND WELLNESS PAVILION EXPANSION
This festive season, Jumby Bay Tennis Club will showcase two newly renovated asphalt tennis courts, along with a versatile multipurpose court for both pickleball and basketball. A pro shop will offer sport accessories and tennis equipment services, and shaded bleacher mounds will provide comfortable viewing areas. Resident Head Tennis Pro, Jerry Williams - a Davis Cup veteran who has competed alongside some of the world’s top-ranked players - will be available for private sessions. Additionally, Jumby’s Wellness Pavilion is expanding to accommodate larger wellness classes, including yoga, soca fitness, core max, and more.
NEW VILLA BUTLER SERVICE, CATERING EVERY DETAIL FROM SIMPLE TO ELABORATE REQUESTS
Introduced earlier in 2024, each villa on Jumby Bay Island features its own personal butler, catering to guests’ every need throughout their stay. This includes smaller details, such as an in villa packing service or creating unique floral arrangements, to more extravagant requests along the lines of a scavenger hunt in search of buried treasure for a three-year-old with a recent obsession with pirates.
