Jumeirah Capri Palace Reopens 16 April 2026

Jumeirah Capri Palace will reopen for the 2026 season on 16 April, welcoming guests back to Anacapri with a renewed calendar of culinary, cultural, and wellness experiences designed to spark meaningful connection under the Mediterranean sun. Building on the hotel’s established reputation as Capri’s home of art, gastronomy, and wellbeing, the season introduces an expanded programme of Michelin-starred guest chefs, the return of Dioriviera to Il Riccio, and new initiatives with leading cultural partners.

Four-Hands Dinners Return with a New Michelin-Starred Line-Up

Building on the success of its acclaimed four-hands dinners, Jumeirah Capri Palace will present a new season of exclusive gastronomic events, welcoming a curated roster of internationally recognised Michelin-starred chefs. The series will unfold across the hotel’s celebrated dining destinations, anchored by Il Ristorante L’Olivo – the only two Michelin-starred restaurants in Capri, where guest chefs will collaborate on one-of-a-kind menus and intimate culinary moments.

The hotel also confirms the return of Pierre Hermé for a second consecutive year, curating the dessert menu with new creations inspired by Caprese tradition and local ingredients.

Wellbeing with Purpose

For guests seeking a wellness escape, the Capri Medical Spa continues to stand among Europe’s most highly regarded health and beauty destinations, reaffirmed under the direction of Dr. Chantal Sciuto, dermatologist and expert in regenerative aesthetic medicine. The spa specialises in personalised holistic and medical programmes and is internationally recognised for its signature Leg School® treatment – designed to support lighter, smoother-looking legs and improved circulation, through a clinically informed approach.

A Summer of Il Riccio Through the Lens of Dioriviera

Above the turquoise Mediterranean, Dioriviera returns to Il Riccio for summer 2026, as Jumeirah Capri Palace renews its collaboration with Dior and transforms the terrace into a temporary Dioriviera boutique. Framed by the island’s sea-swept horizon, the pop-up becomes a distinctly Caprese summer statement, celebrating Dior’s craftmanship through a setting defined by light, landscape, and effortless Mediterranean style.

Art as a Cultural Identity

Art remains central to the identity of Jumeirah Capri Palace. The hotel’s long-standing partnership with Galleria Continua continues this season with a new temporary exhibition opening in April, reaffirming a shared commitment to presenting contemporary art in dialogue with the island of Capri.

The hotel also renews its collaboration with Festival del Paesaggio - an initiative dedicated to contemporary artistic research and its integration with art, landscape, and hospitality, conceived and curated by Arianna Rosica and Gianluca Riccio. As part of the Festival, Jumeirah Capri Palace will also establish an annual award for participating artists, further reinforcing its ongoing commitment to Capri’s cultural development and to fostering meaningful exchange between artists, the natural environment, and the community.

Within the hotel, works by the most recent recipients of the Festival del Paesaggio Art Prize will be showcased. Masbedo will present two works: one will enter the hotel’s permanent collection sine die, while the second will be exhibited on a temporary basis for the 2026 season only. Clarissa Baldassarri will present a single work, which will also be incorporated into the permanent collection sine die.

Inviting the Island Inside

Last season, Jumeirah Capri Palace unveiled a new design chapter shaped by Patricia Urquiola, extending organically from the interiors to the pool and bar areas in a refined contemporary language inspired by Capri’s Genius Loci.

At its heart are the Mariorita Suites – crafted with bespoke furnishings, traditional workmanship, and natural materials that mirror the coastline, blurring the line between indoors and out.

Extending her poetic vision beyond the newly unveiled suites, Patricia Urquiola has reimagined the hotel's outdoor spaces. A lush Caprese garden now frames the Bar degli Artisti, the pool bar, and the newly landscaped lounge terrace all unified by Palladian flooring and a palette inspired by sea and stone. With a curated blend of materials, from rattan to glazed terracotta, and custom marble furnishings that nod to Villa San Michele, the result is a timeless celebration of island life.
