The award was announced by David Marriott, COO, Americas-Eastern Region based on unprecedented results in staff excellence, product innovation and overall guest satisfaction.

Since its opening, the JW Marriott Marquis Miami, in addition to being awarded Hotel of the Year two years in a row, has been recognized by Marriott with the Best New Product Award, twice with the Service Excellence Award for being #1 in Guest Satisfaction within the JW brand, and twice with General Manager of the Year award.
