Luxury travel company, Ker & Downey Africa has launched a 16-day African Photo Safari which transports travelers to the iconic scenery of Namibia, South Africa and Mozambique, in search of the perfect shot. Whether a novice or a pro, this trip has been curated for travelers with a keen interest in photography and is a celebration of Africa’s photographic landscapes and wild playground.
Day 1 - 5: This adventure begins at the luxurious Sossusvlei Desert Lodge in Namibia. Capture the striking scenery of Deadvlei, the Dune Corridor, Hiddenvlei and Sesriem Canyon. Photographers can expect red sand dunes contrasted with white salt pans and shadows which evolve with the rise of the sun.
Day 5 - 9: Experience life in the vibrant city of Cape Town at The Silo Hotel. Guests will spend 4 nights in Cape Town which allows for ample time to explore the city and surrounds. Day tours include visits to Cape Point Nature Reserve, Boulder’s Beach, Chapman’s Peak, Kirstenbosch Gardens and Bo-Kaap.
Day 9 - 12: Next up, travelers can experience the ultimate photographic safari at Singita Lebombo Lodge in the Kruger National Park. Here, you will enjoy daily morning and afternoon game drives for the most favourable photographic opportunities, as well as walking safaris. Clients have full access to the on-site multimedia room for photo selection and editing.
Day 12- 16: Your exclusive island experience takes you from Vilanculous, Mozambique to Azura Benguerra Island Lodge via helicopter. Whether capturing photographs on land or underwater, the scenery won’t fail to impress the most seasoned travelers.
