Beginning June 14th, Jumeirah Carlton Tower will debut London’s newest tea service inspired by Highgrove House & Gardens—the vibrant grounds and family home of King Charles III and Queen Camilla’s royal estate for the last 40+ years.
Commemorating the one-year anniversary of King Charles III’s coronation, the new service brings a botanically inspired experience that champions sustainability while incorporating 34 teas from the ‘world’s most exclusive purveyor of luxury teas’ known as Mariage Frères, who is also celebrating its 170th anniversary this year. The new menu serves dishes and pastries influenced by royal favorites like a coronation chicken sandwich, scones served with honey crumble and thyme sour cream to honor Highgrove and the King’s work with bees, as well as His Majesty’s beloved fruit cake.
A short distance from Buckingham Palace and Westminster Abbey, Jumeirah Carlton Tower is the only hotel to offer exclusive access to Cadogan Gardens—a private garden where Princess Diana used to play as a young child when visiting her mother’s home at Cadogan Place. Furthering its curated connection to the Royal Family, upon arrival, guests can enjoy artistic florals designed by renowned florist Moyses Stevens, holder of two prestigious Royal Warrants and the floral supplier to the late Queen Elizabeth and the Prince of Wales.
