Revitalizing its long-standing reputation as the ultimate luxury Caribbean destination, the Orient-Express property now features two new restaurants and a revamped lobby with sea views as part of the redesigned main building, as well as refurbished suites and rooms.

Deepening the appreciation for culinary diversity, La Samanna's food & beverage offerings tastefully feature French, Mediterranean and Caribbean flavours. The redesigned main building consists of two new restaurants. Overlooking the pristine Caribbean Sea, Trellis complements French cuisine with an expansive Cote du Rhone selection, while Interlude is a casual option for al fresco breakfast and dinner.

The newly remodelled Baie Longue Bar, aptly named after the world-renowned beach the property sits on, is an ideal spot for evening cocktails or an intimate outdoor gathering. The Beach Bar serves lunch with fresh seafood, snacks and salads, complemented with Caribbean-inspired concoctions.

83 meticulously decorated, oceanview rooms and suites present the ideal balance between modern comforts and effortless island living. The fresh design blends traditional whites, paying homage to property's history dating back to 1972, with soft Mediterranean hued accents, which abound at the resort's natural setting. Each room features original artwork by local artists, which depict scenes or locations in St. Martin and the Caribbean. Etchings from renowned Caribbean artist, Sir Roland Richardson, who has been the property's resident artist for many years, hang in each room and Richardson's noted oil paintings adorn the walls of the property's largest suites. In addition, artist Antoine Chapon, a 25-year resident of the island, is represented by his beautiful watercolour prints, which reflect the local Caribbean culture.
