Le Bristol Paris Named Best Hotel in France by Travel+Leisure
Le Bristol Paris has been nominated as the best French hotel in the category ‘Top Large City Hotels' in Europe, thereby dethroning defending champions such as the Ritz Paris and the Four Seasons George V, which placed second and third, respectively.

This recognition, which follows 2013's triumph of Condé Nast Traveler's top ranking European hotels, confirms Le Bristol Paris' position as the top French hotel. The unique location, exceptional gastronomy supervised by head Chef Eric Frechon who runs two restaurants with one and three Michelin stars respectively, the largest and most lush hotel garden in Paris, and above all, the exemplary service of the team, which is the key ingredient of this success.

Travel+Leisure, a travel publication dedicated to the best destinations, makes a yearly list of the finest hotels worldwide. The World's Best Awards is a compilation of the year's best hotels, resorts, spas, airlines, cruise lines, tour operators, rental-car agencies and more, selected mostly by the magazine's readers. The results are good news for French tourism in general, as five Parisian hotels, Le Bristol Paris, the Ritz, the Four Seasons George V, the Plaza Athénée and Le Meurice, all appear in the list of the top 15 hotels in Europe.

“I am most honored by this distinction,” said Didier Le Calvez, CEO of Le Bristol Paris. “To be France's top hotel for the World's Best Award, Travel+Leisure was one of our goals and this is a true testament to our teams' commitment to the Hotel, and especially that of Chef Eric Frechon. Travel+Leisure recognizes Le Bristol's recent renovations of over 150 million euros, a moment of rebirth for our establishment, through which we have retained our original elegance and French art de vivre, which have brought the hotel such great renown.”
