The St. Regis San Francisco, the city’s quintessential five-star destination for timeless elegance, has announced a host of luxurious offerings for guests this holiday season, including a festive New Year’s Eve celebration, a VIP experience at Smuin Ballet’s “The Christmas Ballet,” and the two-night “Live Exquisite” holiday package, featuring once-in-a-lifetime experiences exclusive to hotel guests.

The “Live Exquisite” holiday package includes a two-night stay in The Presidential Suite and a host of memorable San Francisco offerings. Starting at $50,000, the “Live Exquisite” holiday package includes:

  • A two-night stay in The St. Regis San Francisco Presidential Suite
  • In-suite holiday tree and/or holiday décor created by renowned designer J. Riccardo Benavides
  • A private ice-skating lesson with Olympic Gold Medalist Brian Boitano
  • A VIP experience at Smuin Ballet’s “Christmas Ballet” performance at Yerba Buena Center for the Arts
  • A private night and guided tour at the Museum of the African Diaspora
  • Private tour of a new luxury boutique in San Francisco
  • Exclusive St. Regis Rituals, including:

o   The “Art of Tea” experience

Hotel guests and visitors alike are also invited to ring in the New Year at The Grill at The St. Regis. The restaurant’s New Year’s Eve offering includes a five-course dinner, featuring a winter greens salad, cream of potato and leek soup, butter poached Maine lobster, Brandt Farms prime ribeye, and a bittersweet chocolate mousse for dessert. Dinner will be served from 4:30 to 9:30 p.m., while live jazz music and libations will be offered from 9 p.m. to 12 midnight in the lobby lounge. Continuing an annual St. Regis tradition, the New Year’s Eve celebration will conclude with a midnight sabering of a magnum bottle of champagne in the lobby.

The St. Regis San Francisco has also partnered with Smuin Ballet – San Francisco’s premier contemporary ballet company – to offer all hotel guests an exclusive VIP experience at Smuin Ballet’s signature holiday program, “The Christmas Ballet.” Guests who book the experience will enjoy prime seating in the premium orchestra section, a backstage tour (including photographs with a ballerina), and a gift bag that includes autographed ballet shoes, a boa, and a t-shirt or hat of the guest’s choice. The experience is available for $200 per person exclusively to guests of The St. Regis San Francisco. The Smuin Ballet VIP experience may be booked separately from the “Live Exquisite” holiday package.

Guests will have the opportunity to completely immerse themselves in the glitter and glamour of the holidays with an in-suite holiday tree and/or holiday décor throughout the suite designed by renowned San Francisco designer J. Riccardo Benavides, founder and creative director of Ideas Event Styling.  Drawing inspiration from his extensive European travels, Benavides brings a global perspective to his artistic and decorative creations, striking a unique balance between old world and modern high style. Since 1992, Ideas Event Styling has been the leading event décor and production company in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Private Ice-Skating Lesson with Olympic Gold Medalist Brian Boitano:

In a first-time exclusive, The St. Regis San Francisco is pleased to offer its guests a private skating lesson with Olympic gold medalist Brian Boitano, Two hours of skating on an outdoor ice rink with Boitano is an rare holiday-treat opportunity to learn from the best in a festive setting. A Bay Area native, Boitano won the gold medal for the United States at the 1988 Winter Olympic Games. He is a three-time Olympian, and has won more than 50 titles, including 23 international gold medals, two world titles, and more professional titles than anyone in the history of the sport.  Boitano is a member of the U.S. Olympic Hall of Fame and the World Figure Skating Hall of Fame. Among his many other accomplishments Boitano is an author, an Emmy award winner, a TV director, and star of the TV shows “What Would Brian Boitano Make?” and “The Brian Boitano Project.”

VIP Smuin Ballet Experience:

Smuin Ballet – San Francisco’s premier contemporary ballet company – is offering a unique VIP experience in which guests will have inside access to its signature holiday program, “The Christmas Ballet.” This exclusive St. Regis experience includes: prime seating in the premium orchestra section, a backstage tour, photographs with a ballerina, and a gift bag of keepsakes, including autographed ballet shoes, a boa, and a t-shirt or hat of the guest’s choice.

A Night at the Museum of the African Diaspora:

For guests who appreciate exclusivity and enlightenment, without being surrounded by the chaos of a crowd, the Museum of the African Diaspora (MoAD) – a contemporary museum showcasing the history, art, and cultural richness that resulted from the migration of Africans throughout the world – is offering guests the opportunity to experience a “night at the museum” all to themselves. Privately guided, guests will have VIP access and will be provided with background on the artwork as explained by a MoAD expert. MoAD is one of the few museums in the world focused exclusively on African Diaspora culture and on presenting the rich cultural heritage of the people of Africa and of African descendant cultures across the globe.
