For two nights, those who book Pulitzer Amsterdam’s ‘Live Like James Bond’ package will enjoy accommodations in the hotel’s recently renovated suites – each boasting an eclectic mix of finishes and designs – and a luxurious James Bond adventure throughout the city. The experience begins the moment guests arrive in Amsterdam with a personal limousine chauffeur from the airport to the hotel. Upon arrival at Pulitzer Amsterdam, guests will enjoy a “Shaken, Not Stirred” martini – just as Bond would have ordered – and receive a James Bond-themed recipe card for re-creating the cocktail at home.

The package also includes a tour of the winding canals on Pulitzer Amsterdam’s private boat – The Tourist – with stops to view the Skinny Bridge and Reguliersgracht 36, which are both featured in the James Bond movie Diamonds Are Forever. After exploring the canals by boat, guests will also enjoy a three-course dinner at Jansz., the hotel’s restaurant.

In the film, Diamonds Are Forever, Bond disguises himself as a diamond smuggler and travels to “The City of Diamonds” also known as Amsterdam in pursuit of a criminal. While guests will not be chasing criminals to retrieve precious rocks, they will enjoy an exclusive VIP tour at Gassan Diamonds complete with a limousine ride to the venue and an after-hours tour and meet-and-greet with the management team. During the tour, guests will learn about the process of crafting the perfectly cut diamond and the city’s diamond history. Upon departure, guests will receive a goodie bag and a private limousine or boat ride back to the hotel.

The ‘Live Like James Bond’ package begins at €549 for a room of two, and can be booked until September 23, 2017 for stays from October 6 or October 7 for two nights.

James Bond Martini Theme Week

In collaboration with Sipsmith gin, Pulitzer Amsterdam is also inviting locals and guests to celebrate Global James Bond Day by visiting the hotel’s bar, Pulitzer’s Bar, for James Bond Martini Theme Week. From Monday, October 2 through Sunday, October 8, the bar will feature a “Shaken, Not Stirred” menu featuring the James Bond Vesper cocktail – the famous drink ordered by Bond throughout the books and films. The cocktail contains three measues of Gordon’s, one of vodka, and a half measure of Kina Lillet and is shaken over ice and served with a thin slice of lemon peel. Guests and locals alike can enjoy the timeless classic atmosphere of the bar, accompanied by classic tunes from the James Bond movies.
