This marks the first hotel ratings in Europe for Forbes Travel Guide, which has anonymously inspected and rated hotels, restaurants, and spas since the company's founding in 1958, formerly known as Mobil Travel Guide. According to Forbes Travel Guide, the Five-Star Award sets both The Dorchester and 45 Park Lane apart as "one of the finest establishments in the world, delivering guests service and an experience beyond expectation."

The only hotel in the UK to offer a three Michelin star restaurant, The Dorchester has undergone recent refurbishment of 22 new suites fusing modern comfort with the classic English style and timeless glamour the property is prized for. At the new 45 Park Lane, art meets contemporary art deco style where all guest rooms overlook Hyde Park and feature advanced technology. Destination dining is offered with CUT at 45 Park Lane, Wolfgang Puck's debut restaurant in Europe which opened at the hotel to critical acclaim.
