Los Angeles Travel Show Announces 2013 Headline Speakers
Named as one of Southern California's top 10 trade shows or conventions by BizBash, the 2013 Travel & Adventure Show will also feature consumer seminars, interactive family-friendly activities, and industry-focused trade events.

Saturday, January 12 speakers:
Jean-Michel Cousteau: With over 40 years of exploring the world, designing, and studying the ocean realm, environmental speaker Jean-Michel Cousteau will provide a wealth of stories and knowledge from his adventurous life. Cousteau will discuss how his formal education in architecture provided him with theories he has applied to the environment as an oceanographer.

Pauline Frommer: Daughter of travel legend Arthur Frommer, nationally syndicated travel radio show host, and creator of Pauline Frommer Guidebooks, Frommer will inform guests about when to splurge and when to scrimp.

Peter Greenberg: America's most recognized, honored and respected front-line travel news journalist, who has appeared on CBS This Morning, CBS Evening News and CBS Sunday Morning, Peter Greenberg will share his greatest travel experiences from his latest book, The Best Places for Everything.

Richard Wiese: Since climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro at age 11, Richard Wiese has explored the world, from traveling with the Bedouins in Africa to skiing the North Pole, and now hosts ABC's Emmy-nominated adventure program, Born to Explore with Richard Weise. Weise will share with guests how meaningful adventure experiences can be obtained anywhere.

Sunday, January 13 speakers:
Patricia Schultz: Television producer and author of best-selling travel book, 1,000 Places to See in the USA & Canada Before You Die, Patricia Schultz will discuss material from her book as well as take audience questions and sign her book afterward.

Rick Steves: For the past 20 years, Rick Steves has hosted over 100 travel shows for public television, including his own popular show, Rick Steves' Europe. Steves will discuss how American travelers can connect much more intimately and authentically with Europe-and Europeans-for a fraction of what mainstream tourists pay.

Chris Harrison: As the longtime host of ABC's The Bachelor and The Bachelorette, Chris Harrison has seen some of the most shocking moments on television-and traveled to some of the most interesting places in the world. Harrison will reflect on romance and travel over the past 10 years while hosting The Bachelor and The Bachelorette.
